With the roll out of the final version of LEED for Homes, USGBC has modified process and pricing. Please take note of these changes, which are posted under the "Fees" tab.
Builders new to the program have until February 18, 2008 to register under the pilot and have their projects grandfathered into pilot programs and pricing.
Projects by builders who are registered under the pilot must be completed and certified by February 18, 2009 to be certified under the pilot rating system.
Beginning on February 18, 2008 non-pilot builders (and pilot builders whose projects will not be complete until after February 18, 2009) will register each of their projects directly on the USGBC website rather than going through a Provider. However, a builder must choose a Provider prior to registering. Builders will also pay the pre-project certification fee directly through the USGBC website.
See the "Fees" tab for details on new fees. Note that certification and registration fees have increased, and vary based on the type of project, and whether the builder is a member of USGBC or not.
